Automatic transmission level adjusting circuit

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To automatically adjust the transmission level by detecting the variance of the gain of an automatic gain control circuit on the reception side and controlling the gain of a transmission-side amplifier on the basis of the detection result. CONSTITUTION: The amplification gain of an automatic gain control circuit 2 on the reception side is varied by an inputted reception signal level 1a. A detector 3 detects a signal indicating the amplification gain, namely, a degree of amplification required for output of the signal having a prescribed level and generates a control signal 4a to control the amplification level of an amplifier 5 on the transmission side. By such series of operations, the reception signal is amplified correspondingly to the loss of a transmitter and the level of the transmission signal is amplified correspondingly to the amplification value to correct the transmission loss.
