Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent the overdischarge of a contained battery from being generated, by breaking power feed to an indicator or the like also, after a process for protecting software resources is completed, at the time of the accident of a power source. CONSTITUTION:By a circuit switching means 16, via a power switch 2, power is fed to an output terminal from an input power source 1 or from an inverter 14. At the time of the normal state of the power source, via a charging circuit 4, a battery 5 is charged, and at the time of service interruption, an inverter 14 is driven by the battery 5 via a control circuit 12. At the time of the service interruption, after a process for protecting the software resources of the personal computer of a load and the like is executed, the voltage of the battery 5 is monitored, and immediately before overdischarge is generated, the contact of a latching relay 6 is set in a released state by signal from the control circuit 12.
