Ic card issuing system
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To raise the safety and the reliability by sending the issue information to an IC card by using an enciphered format. CONSTITUTION:A storage medium 101 in which an identification number of an IC card user and formatting information of an IC card are stored by a cipher is inserted into a data reader 110. A central processor 102 sends said information which is read by the data reader 110, to a reader/writer 103 through the central processor in a state that it remains enciphered. The IC card 104 consists of an interface 105 for inputting the information from the reader/writer 103, a decoding circuit 109 for decoding this inputted information by using a memory 108 for a key, a CPU 106 for executing their control, and a memory 107 for storing the decoded information. Accordingly, the information from the reader/writer 103 is decoded by the decoding part in the inside of the IC card 104, and this decoded signal is stored in the memory of the IC card.
