Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To automatically select an extension capable to be responded to with having only to depress a function button by providing a button assigned respectively with plural extensions in addition to a ten-key inputting directly a dial signal to an extension terminal equipment and making one function button correspondent to the extension group comprising plural extensions. CONSTITUTION:In depressing a function button, a call request is given to the relevant extension and a terminal equipment of the relevant extension starts a call control program. The terminal equipment of the called extension uses the call control program to check its own state thereby returning an identification signal representing the idle state or the connection disable state. When the extension terminal equipment is in the idle state, call to the terminal equipment is started, when it is in the connection disable state, the code of the next digit is extracted. When it is discriminated that the code is a section signal B, the code of the further succeeding digit is extracted. When it is discriminated not to be a section signal, a busy tone is sent to the caller extension terminal equipment.
