Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the fluctuation of an oscillated frequency due to power voltage changes by constituting a base bias of a differential transistor(TR) pair of an amplifier section of a differential amplifier oscillator of a UHF/VHF band formed on a monolithic IC by a resistor and a current supplied from a constant current source. CONSTITUTION:Emitters of differential pair TRsQ1, Q2 are connected in common and receive a constant current from a constant current source TRQ3. The constant current source TRQ3 receives a constant voltage from a constant voltage source (REG)1 via a resistor RB5 to form a constant current source (sucking constant current source) and the operating current of the TRsQ1, Q2 is constant independently of a power voltage VCC. The base bias of the TRsQ1, Q2 is given from a constant current source TRQB1 via resistors RB1-RB3. The constant current source TRQB1 receives a constant voltage from the constant voltage source 1 via the resistor RB4 to operate as a constant current source (absorption constant current source). Thus, the base-collector voltage VBC of the differential pair TRsQ1, Q2 is constant independently of the power voltage VCC, and the power voltage fluctuation dependence of the oscillating frequency does not exist as the oscillator by providing a feedback circuit.
