Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To automatically execute a retransmission after the interruption of a transmission due to a trouble in communication by adding a picture signal storing means for storing a read picture signal. CONSTITUTION:At the time of recognizing a speech state by a control part 1, a picture processing part 2 scans on a transmitted picture 6 by a scanner 5 to fetch the signal, process the signal and transfer the picture signal to a communication part 3 and the picture signal storing part 7. The communication part 3 transmits the transferred picture signal to a telephone line and stores the transferred picture signal in the storing part 7. At the time of interrupting the transmission due to the trouble, the communication part 3 informs it to the control part 1. The control part 1 instructs a dial part 4 to radial a telephone number. The control part 1 transfers the picture signal stored by the storing part 7 to the communication part 3 to start a transmission again.
