Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To accurately call a user by calling a telephone number of an abbreviated dial corresponding to the telephone number drawn on a touch panel. CONSTITUTION:When a user draws numerals corresponding to a telephone number on the touch panel 16, the drawn numerals are recognized as prescribed numerals by a numeral recognizing circuit 19 through a position detecting circuit 18. When all numerals corresponding to the telephone number are drawn on the touch panel 16, calling based upon the telephone number corresponding to the numeral string is executed by a calling circuit 20. Since calling is executed by the telephone number corresponding to numerals drawn on the touch panel 16 by the user, the calling can be executed by the accurate telephone number without accurately checking the position, display, etc., of the telephone number by visual operation.
