Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To surely receive an emergency broadcast in a short time by using an N-unit frequency shift keying signal of an n-bit code, which is obtained by encoding two specific frequencies in time series in accordance with control information, as a control signal for emergency information broadcast. CONSTITUTION:In a transmission station, a program signal break switch 4 and a control signal insertion switch 5 are operated at the time of necessity, and a program signal is interrupted during this time to transmit the Nunit frequency shift keying signal of the n-bit code as the emergency information control signal. In the reception side, a coincidence signal is outputted from a decoder 109 when the n-bit input signal coincides with a specific code. When the number of times of this coincidence signal output exceeds a constant, it is judged that a fundamental unit of the code is received, and a decision pulse is outputted from a counter 113. This output is counted by a counter 115; and when the counted value reaches a constant, a confirmation pulse is outputted and the interrupted time series of the code is decided by a secondary code discriminating circuit 117.
