Coating composition for electrodeposition coating

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition containing a specific fluorine- containing polymer and organoalkoxysilane compound at a specific ratio, capable of providing a coating film having excellent weather resistance, heat resistance and electric insulation as well as good storage stability. CONSTITUTION:The aimed composition consisting of (A) 60-97pts.wt. fluorine polymer having carboxyl group and hydroxyl group as well as 5-100 acid value and 20-200 hydroxyl group value and 3-40pts.wt. organoalkoxysilane compound [preferably having a structure of formula I or formula II (n is 1-3; R<1> and R<2> are 1-18C aliphatic hydrocarbon; R<3> is organic group having various kind of functional groups; R<4> is 1-18C aliphatic hydrocarbon).
