Record paper processor

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To surely conduct the adjustment of the sheets of record paper by making side plates swing at least once every time a sheet of record paper is carried in to a retaining position for punching or stapling processing and plural times when the last sheet of record paper is carried in. CONSTITUTION:Sheets of recorded record paper discharged in turn from the main body of a copying machine are discharged into a space between a pair of side plates 43b1 and 43b2 on the inclined plate 43a of a stacker 43 through a changeover gate 42, a pair of carrying rollers 44a, 44b, and slide down along its inclination and strike-contact a stopper 43c, and are loaded in turn. In this instance, the pair of side plates 43b1, 43b2 positioned according to the size of record paper are swung once outward reciprocatingly by means of motors M4a, M4b every time a sheet of record paper is delivered, and the last sheet of record paper of the predetermined number of sheets is carried in, and then, both side plates 43b1, 43b2 are swung several times reciprocatingly in order to adjust the sheets of loaded record paper, and punching processing or stapling processing is conducted. Thus, punching processing or stapling processing can be accurately conducted.
