Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent miscopying by driving a magnification setting mechanism according to accessed magnification value data. CONSTITUTION:The magnification setting mechanism which can set the magnification that has no steps substantially from enlargement to reduction is constituted of a lens moving mechanism 35, a mirror moving mechanism 40, a mirror rocking mechanism 55 and a stepping motor M4. A 2nd CPU is set in an optical system 101, in which signals from sensor group (SW50 and SW51) for detecting a scanning state, etc., are inputted, and from which control signals to the driving circuit of a scanning motor M3 and a magnification setting motor M4 are outputted. Namely the magnification setting mechanism is driven according to the accessed magnification value data. Then, even if a new magnification value is inputted in response to a magnification selection key switch after programming, the magnification at the time of programming can be set in case of accessing a program. Thus, the miscopying can be prevented.
