Silencer for air blower

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To increase working property and muffling effect by cutting board-type glass wool sound-absorber in strips having identical width in the direction of thickness and arranging in such a way as to have one cut surface touch the inner tube and the other cut surface touch the outer sheathing plate. CONSTITUTION: Between the inner tube 101 and the outer sheathing plate 102, sound-absorbing board type glass wool 103 is cut in strips having an equal width in the direction of thickness and is arranged so that one cut surface 4 of the sound-absorber 103 is brought in touch with the inner tube 101 and the other in touch with the outer sheathing plate 102. The sound absorber 5 with the entire cloth-pasted surface is bent in an arc shape and held down by the outer sheathing plate 102. The sound-absorber 5 is in a flat plate form by itself but when external force is applied, it deforms easily in an arc shape creating an improved working property.
