Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To attempt increased friction connecting property for vehicle component parts by regulating sintering or annealing temperature at a specific cooling speed rate against a composite material of ceramic fiber and fluororesin polymer. CONSTITUTION: Onto the outer conical surface 56 of a blocker ring 81 provided between a clutch collar 42 and gear 71, friction material 90 is bonded by an epoxy group type adhesive. The friction material 90 is composed of a composite material containing a ceramic fiber and silicon nitride or silicon carbide or a mixture thereof with ceramic fiber, uniformly dispersed and balanced and the percentage by weight of the fluororesin polymer to the total weight is made about 25%-75%. After the composite material is sintered for a specified length of time at a specified temperature, it is annealed for a specific length of time at a specific temperature. Furthermore, it is cooled at a rate of less than 20 deg.C a minute.
