Toner collecting device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a transfer material from being stained with toner, etc., by setting the conveyance quantity of a conveying means larger at the curved part of a conveyance part than at any other part. CONSTITUTION:The conveyance path 35 has the curved part formed of a U-shaped pipe 37, but the pitch P of the curved part 36b of an auger 36 and the teeth of the screw of a straight part 36c following it is set larger than that of a straight part 36a, and consequently even when toner conveyed by the auger 36 passes through the curved part of the conveyance path, the pitch P2 of the auger 36 is set larger at the curved part 36b than at the straight part 36a and the toner is collected efficiently to a toner recovery part 11 in a photosensitive drum 1. Therefore, the collected toner never fills the curved part of the conveyance path 35 to overflow from the end part of a cleaning device 13, so overflowing toner falls neither on a transfer form 8 to stain it or in the device to stain the inside.
