Control device for distribution of driving force of vehicle

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain both the prevention of consumption in current, pumping loss, and noise and the improvement in responsiveness in the generation of a transmitting torque by limiting the generating timing of clutch engaging force while preventing controlling hunting. CONSTITUTION:A friction clutch element (e) for generating a transmitting torque which is variable in accordance with an engaging force from the outside (d) is provided midway in a driving system for transmitting a driving force from an engine (a) to front and rear wheels (b), (c) or right and left wheels (c), (c). In this structure, an initial engaging force controlling means (f) detects the difference in rotating speed between front and rear wheels (b), (c) or between right and left wheels (c), (c) and, when the difference in rotating speed is below a set value, it makes an initial engaging force to the friction clutch element (e) zero while, on the other hand, at the time of above the set value, it gives the initial engaging force to the friction clutch element (e) for a defined time. Thereby, the generating time of a clutch engaging force can be limited while preventing controlling hunting.
