Remote maintenance system in private branch exchange

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To wholly eliminate a procedure concerning selection and to take an advantage on operation by automatically selecting a MODEM to be suitable for the system of the MODEM of a maintenance person side out of the MODEMs of a private branch exchange side. CONSTITUTION:The plural types of MODEMs 11 and 12 and a selecting circuit 14 to select the MODEM to match with the MODEM of a device side for maintenance out of the plural types of the MODEMs 11 and 12 are provided in the private branch exchange side. Thus, the MODEM is automatically selected by the selecting out of the plural types of the MODEMs 11 and 12 of the private branch exchange side by the selecting circuit to properly execute communication with the MODEM set in a distant place and the procedure to manually select the MODEM is eliminated.
