Screw-cam connecting operating corkscrew
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To easily and exactly draw corks from bottles by constituting the cork opener with a worm to be screwed into cork stopper, a cam plate formed at the both outside edges of the sectional cam frame, and a supporting axis serving as both the spiral center of a cam plate and a supporter for the tip of the spiral worm. CONSTITUTION: Worm 1 and support frame 3 are inhibited from integrally moving, by vertically positioning cam frame 3, supporting the starting point of a cam plate 44' against a cork stopper 8, rotating the worm 1, support frame 3, and cam plate 44' integrally, screwing the worm 1 into the cork stopper 8, having the outer periphery of the cam plate 44' reach the mouth 7 of the bottle, and further screwing the worm in order to lift the cork stopper 8 to the level of the positioning fitting 6. Revolving the support frame 3 about a support shaft 2 in the direction of the arrow, making the collar 55' into contact with the mouth 7 of the bottle and moving it, applying the generated cam thrust to the cork stopper 8 through the support shaft 2 and the worm 1 for further lifting up the cork stopper 8, and draw out the cork stopper.
