Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To cope with processing for the occurrence of abnormality, data protection, and restoration from abnormal termination by providing a function which turns off power supply to a data memory, a work memory, and a program memory in order at the time of the occurrence of abnormality of a power unit. CONSTITUTION:When detecting a power failure phenomenon, a power supply monitor module 8 interrupts the service executing at present and immediately saves data of service business or the like before interruption, which is stored in a work memory 4, to a data memory 5 and saves contents of the occurrence of abnormality to the data memory 5 also. A power supply control module 7 stops power supply to the data memory 5. Next, power supply to the work memory 4 from which data to be saved is completely saved to the data memory is stopped. Finally, a diagnosing program is executed for the purpose of discriminating whether the processing for abnormal termination is all terminated or not, and power supply to a program memory 3 is stopped to terminate the abnormality processing. Thus, this device quickly copes with data protection at the time of the occurrence of power supply abnormality and restoration from the occurrence of abnormality.
