Data input device
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve the operability of a data input device by preliminarily writing a code table from the processing block of a processing part to the storage part of an input part to make it unnecessary to change a ROM in the input part at each time of using a code of another classification. CONSTITUTION:At the time of power-on, a selected code table whose frequency in use is high is read out from a processing block 14 in a processing part 9 and is transferred to and stored in a RAM 4a of an input part 1. When key information is inputted from a keyboard 2, this information is converted to a voltage level and a timing by an interface part 3. A CPU 7 holds successively inputted information in a RAM 6a by the control program stored in a ROM 5a and detects a code synthesized from this information from the code table in the RAM 4a. The detected code is sent to the processing part 9, and a code is read out from a corresponding code table in the processing block 14. Thus, the processing speed of the processing part 9 is not reduced and the change of the ROM in the input part 1 is unnecessary when the code used in the input part 1 is changed.
