Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the excellent supporting body preventing the generation of a lip stain and a film crack at the time of applying a surface coating layer, and has less tendency for generating a fault defect and has the excellent resolution and is suitable for the photographic printing paper, by constituting a coating layer of a surface waterproof resin of a specified multipartial layer structure. CONSTITUTION:The titled supporting body is constituted of a sheet like supporting body and the surface coating layer which is coated on the surface of said body, and is composed of a waterproof polyolefin resin contg. titanium dioxide, and the surface coating layer is constituted of at least two layers of partial layers which are laminated with each other. In the surface partial layer (the former) forming the outer most layer on the supporting body and the partial layer (the latter) positioned directly under the surface partial layer among said partial layers, the titanium dioxide content of the former is larger than that of the latter, and the thickness of the former is smaller than that of the latter. Thus, the fault defect caused by the generation of a dyelip stain and a microgrid is remarkably reduced.
