Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable detection of a different liquid level, by selecting several output electrodes, set vertically at a specified interval, sequentially one at a time, to detect continuity to a common input electrode set therebelow. CONSTITUTION:When a liquid is at a height between output electrodes T2 and T2, the output electrodes T1 and T2 submerge in the liquid while output electrodes T3 and T4 are located in the air. When a switching transistor S1 is turned ON, the output electrode T1 and a common input electrode T0 conduct through resistances R1, r1 and r0 to allow detection of a rise in the potential of the common input electrode T0. Likewise, when the switching transistor S2 is turned ON, a rise in the potential of the common input electrode T0 is detected. Then, a detection circuit 4 outputs a voice signal corresponding to a set height of the highest of the output electrodes T1 and T2, namely, the output electrode T2 detected for conduction as liquid level signal from a buzzer 6.
