Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To monitor a facsimile signal and an MF signal during facsimile communication by connecting a telephone set and a telephone line by way of a capacitor in the facsimile equipment. CONSTITUTION:A capacitor 9 is connected between cable pairs between a telephone set 1 and a telephone line 2. Even when the contact of a switching circuit 4 is thrown to the position of B during the facsimile communication, the facsimile signal or MF signal sent to the line 2 via a hybrid transformer 5 and generated from a facsimile signal generating section 6 of a multi-frequency signal generating section 7 is sent to the telephone set 1. Thus, the operator hooks off the handset of the telephone set 1 and touches it on the ear, then all the signals can be monitored.
