Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To easily remove a jam occurring between bins by independently supporting both sides of the downstream end parts of plural bin-trays arranged above and below through guide ways on a supporting wall, and gradually widening the guide ways upward. CONSTITUTION:Plural sorters 6 (18 sets in the figure) are fitted between side walls 18, 14 on both sides of a supporting frame 4 that they can oscillate toward their downstream side (the left in the figure). On the upstream side of the sorters 6, trunnions 12 in a slit 16 provided on side walls 13, 14 are moved up and down by a transferring mechanism 18 to introduce a sheet P moving from an upstream side between the trunnions 12, namely into a widened space on the upstream side of the sorter 6. Both sides of the downstream side of each sorter 6 are connected through rising pieces to protruding pieces respectively, which are beared through guide ways 56 on a supporting wall 54 gradually widened upward. Thus a jam occurring between sorters 6 can be easily removed.
