System for sending camp-on information in extension camp-on

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To speedily execute a responding processing by sending the notice of the return call of a camp-on and a camp-on set extension number with a sound when a response is executed from a telephone set not to have a display device to the return call by the camp-on. CONSTITUTION:When an extension 1 responds to a call, a central control unit 6 reads the information of position to receive camp-on set extension from a storage device 7 and the telephone number of an extension 3 is calculated from the information and sent to a speech synthesizer 8. The speech synthesizer 8 is connected to the extension 1 by a main switch 5 under the control of the central control unit 6. Then, the notice of the return call of the camp and the number of camp-on set extension are converted to the sound and sent to the extension 1. Thus, even when a camp-on setting extension speedily responds to the call, it can be recognized that the call is the return call by the camp-on and a responding person can speedily execute a processing to the call.
