Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To form a pattern having large uneven gradation expression by forming a foamable resin layer on a base material sheet, providing a protrusion foamable resin pattern protruding from the surface and a recess foaming suppression pattern on the layer, and adding a pattern of normal ink. CONSTITUTION:A heating foamable pattern 3 and a foaming suppression pattern 4 are transferred to a heating foamable material before foaming of a foamable resin layer 2, the surface of a decorative material is protected after it becomes a product as required, a transparent protection layer 6 for imparting a wear resistance is provided, and the entirety is thereafter heated to foam the heating foamable material and the heating foamable pattern section, while the foaming suppression pattern section is suppressed for foaming, and a decorative material of the structure as shown is manufactured. The layer 2 is formed by adding a foaming agent to thermoplastic synthetic resin, and foaming the heating foamable material formed in a sheet state. The pattern 3 is formed by employing heating foamable ink prepared by mixing ink using suitable vehicle with foaming agent. The foaming suppression pattern 4 is formed by employing a composition for inhibiting the decomposition of the agent.
