Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To receive the service function of a telephone set stored on an IC card anywhere independently of the location of a telephone set in use by storing a subscriber data onto the IC card in advance. CONSTITUTION:When an IC card possessor uses a telephone set other than its own telephone set and loads an IC card ICC2 to an IC card input/output device 2, at first the IC card number is identified by an IC card number identification section 13. When the identification of the IC card number is finished, the service information in the IC card is analyzed by a service information analysis section 14 the same as the case with the call of its own telephone set by the IC card possessor and a processing section 12 offers the service according to the result. When the telephone set gets free from its operating state, charging information sent from the exchange 7 is stored in a data storage section 11 to return the IC card to the possessor.
