Adhesive method
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To enable strong adhesion without producing an air gap on a joint even if a deformation or a distorsion of the joint of an adherends and dispersion in forms of an electromagnetic adhesive agent exist, by applying high-frequency wave between adherends composed of a non-magnetic substance after the electromagnetic adhesive agent obtained by scattering a fibrous and/or powdery ferromagnetic substance and a foaming agent within thermoplastic resin has been interposed into the space. CONSTITUTION:High-frequency wave is applied between adherends which are composed of a non-magnetic substance after an electromagnetic adhesive agent composed of a fibrous and/or powdery ferromagnetic substance and foaming agent by scattering them within thermoplastic resin has been interposed into the space. The electromagnetic adhesive agent is melted by induction heating and the same is expanded so that the same becomes 1.05-20 times as much as of its volume. When an expansion factor is 1.05 times or less, filling effect into an air gap part in an adhesive agent layer is not seen and when the same is 20 times or more, an air-bubble part become excessive and it becomes impossible to obtain adhesive strength from a view point of practical use. Thus when the foaming agent of such a quantity as to fall within a range of 1.1-10 times is added, far better effect can be obtained preferably.
