Bar code type dialing equipment

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the operation time and to decrease mis-dialing by reading a bar code representing a telephone number, converting the code into a code signal and transmitting it while being converted into a dial pulse signal or a pushbutton signal thereby simplifying the operation at the time of starting talking. CONSTITUTION:A bar code reader reading a bar code and converting it into a code signal, a signal storage device 2 storing tentatively the code signal, and a dialing circuit 3 converting the stored code signal into a dial pulse signal or a pushbutton signal and sending the result to a communication line 4 are provided. Thus, any printed matter can be a medium and in describing name cards, telephone directory, magazine and telephone number of advertisement while being converted into a bar code, the telephone set can directly read them without intervention of a person and can dial the number. Thus, convenience by reducing the operation is improved and wrong dialing is reduced by the automated reading.
