Diffuser of high speed centrifugal compressor

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To exceedingly enlarge the range of operational flow rate by providing an auxiliary blade on the side near the inner circumference between plural stator blades and also providing a middle blade on the side near the outer circumference between plural stator blades. CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary blade 7 is provided at the position crossed with a circle passing through the front end of a stator blade 4, while being opposed to the stator blade 4 on only the one blade surface thereof. A middle blade 12 is provided in such a way that it passes through the center of the perpendicular directed from the rear end of the stator blade 4 to the adjacent stator blade 4 and reach the circle passing through the rear end of the stator blade 4. The rapid enlargement in a passage cross-section right after the downstream side of the auxiliary blade 7 and the reduction of a choke flow rate are prevented. Therefore, it is possible to exceedingly enlarge the range of the operational flow rate in a high speed centrifugal compressor. COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
