Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To form a concrete shell of a large span easily by stretching a rope or net consisting of nonmetal long fiber in a space position, and placing concrete in a manner burying the rope and net. CONSTITUTION: A rope 1 or net 2 consisting of nonmetal long fiber such as carbon, aramid, and vinylon is stretched in a space position in which construction of a shell structure is planned. Following this, concrete 5 is placed so that the rope 1 and net 2 are buried to construct a shell structure. Thereby nonmetal long fiber which does not corrode different from iron bars, a cover thickness of the concrete 5 for corrosion prevention can be reduced, as a result, a concrete shell structure of a large span can be formed easily without the use of timbering.
