Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To improve strength by compounding metallic fiber with an oxide superconductive material expressed as Y-Ba-Cu-O. CONSTITUTION:Metallic fiber is compounded with an oxide superconductive material expressed as Y-Ba-Cu-O. As a compounded metal, metallic fiber chosen out of Au, Ag, Pt, Pd, Ir, Mo and W is used. The metallic fiber not only prevents, when the front end of a crack collidies, the growth of the crack and bends it but also bridges the broken surfaces even after the crack end passes the fiber and thereafter the fiber can be drawn out of the broken surface. This improves strength.
