Color image forming device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To check the formation of a color image with color slippage by installing a correction means for correcting the dislocation of the respective color images and a means for prohibiting the formation of the image when the correction by the correction means is impossible. CONSTITUTION:A CPU 1401 operates the relative color slippage quantity of the respective images according to the outputs from dislocation detectors 1402C, 1402M, 1402Y and 1402K. Counters (CNT) 1403a-1403d count a time, for example, from the time a transfer sheet begins to be fed to a timing a cyanogen image begins to be written and the quantity of the dislocation of a magenta image, a yellow image and a black image with the cyanogen image. After completing the counting by the respective counters 1403b-1403d, namely, after corrected time lapses the permission signals of the respective images VDO-C, VDO-M, VDO-Y and VDO-K are generated to respective laser units. Thus, the slippage of color resist can be automatically corrected.
