Scroll type compressor

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the abrasion and noise by forming a main body and a hole section in contact with balls with different materials in a retainer arranged between a rotary scroll and a block fixed with a fixed scroll and holding multiple balls. CONSTITUTION:A rotary scroll 5 is engaged with a fixed scroll 4 fixed to a block 3. Multiple balls 15 are arranged between the anti-lap side and rear face of the end plate of the rotary scroll 5 and the block 3. The balls 15 are held with a retainer 22 respectively so as not to be in touch with each other. The retainer 22 is formed with a main 20 and hole sections 21 of the same number as the balls 15 provided on the main body 20. If the main body 20 is formed with a plastic material, for example, the hole sections 21 are formed with an iron material, for example. The strength of the hole sections 21 is thereby increased, the abrasion is prevented, the main body 20 is made lightweight, and the movement is made smooth.
