Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable parallel sound inscription to be inputted without generating an error and to efficiently generate a sentence in Chinese language, by informing the kind of a character following a sound character or a rhymed character. CONSTITUTION:An input means 1 to input the sound character and rhymed character data, a KANJI (Chinese character) conversion means 6 to convert parallel sound character data consisting of the sound character data and the rhymed character data, a decision means 2 to decide inputted character data whether it is the sound character data or the rhymed character data, and an information means 8 to inform whether the character to be inputted at the next step is a sound character or a rhymed character are provided. It is assumed that the character data to be inputted at the next step is the sound character when the inputted character data is the rhymed character data, and the character data to be inputted at the next step is the rhymed character when the inputted character data is the sound character data, then, the above assumption is informed to an operator. In such a way, it is possible to suppress mis-input due to the connection relation of sound and rhyme at a minimum and to perform the input of the sentence in Chinese language efficiently.
