Tracking servo circuit

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain the highly accurate tracking control with a simple circuit constitution by obtaining a tracking error signal by the difference in the area of the waveform of first and second bit detecting signals for a tracking servo. CONSTITUTION:Along the track direction, etc., which are the recording and reproducing direction, at a recording medium 1 such as an optical magnetic disk, a servo signal area 3 and a data area 4 are alternately formed at a prescribed interval, respective types of the servocontrol such as a tracking, focusing and clocking are executed by recording bits PA, PB and PC recorded and formed in the servo signal area 3, the PA and PB of the pulse for tracking tare integrated by making mutually a polarity different in order to detect a tracking error and thus, the difference in the area of the PA and PB of these pulses is obtained. Thus, the fluctuation for noise is reduced, a PL clock is fluctuated, the fluctuation due to the leaking of the timing to a sample pulse does not also occur and a highly accurate stable tracking error signal can be obtained.
