Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce cost by collecting data related to articles from a stationary data input terminal equipment by a portable electronic calculator, and collecting the data from the portable electronic calculator by the stationary electronic computer arranged in the delivery base of the articles. CONSTITUTION:A person in charge of delivery patrols retail shops every day for the delivery of bread and the collection of a container box. Accordingly, when he is at the retail shop, he connects the optical communication plug 7 of a handy terminal 4 to a retail shop terminal 1, and starts the data collection program. Thus, order data stored in the order data storage area of the terminal 1 is sucked to the terminal 4. The order data of respective retail shops collected in the terminal 4 is sucked to a general purpose computer 8 by executing the data collection program of the computer 8 by connecting the plug 7 to the computer 8 after the person in charge of the delivery returns to a factory, and it can be submitted as the basic data of production management of sale management.
