Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To use a reel both as the hose for fluid and that for electricity by connecting to a hollow slip ring fixed at the end surface of the reel, an electric cable relay body and providing at the reel a fluid pipe relay body through the slip ring from a swivel joint fixed at a rack stand. CONSTITUTION:A hollow slip ring 4 is fixed at the end surface of one side of a reel 1 supported rotatably at a rack stand 2, and a relay body 7 connected to the slip ring 4 and fixed at the reel 1 is subjected to an electric current flow by means of electric brushes 5. Meanwhile, a fluid swivel joint 8a is provided fixedly at a box 9a fixed at the rack stand 2, and a fluid pipe relay body 6a provided fixedly at the reel 1 is connected rotatably to the swivel joint 8a through the hollow portion of the slip ring 4. Accordingly, one reel 1 can be used both as a fluid pipe 6'a and an electric cable 7'.
