Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To shorten time and also prevent the disorder of the adjustment of sheets by providing a control means operating a changeover drive means and a stapling drive means through the receipt of a mode signal from a main body. CONSTITUTION:In the case of a stapling mode, a control means 61 controls a changeover drive means 66, and changes a sheet carrying direction over to the 2nd discharge means 9 by means of a changeover means 7, and discharges sheets onto a bin 10 by means of the 2nd discharge means 9, and controls a stapling drive means 67, and staples sheets S on the bin 10 by means of a stapling device 60. Also, even if the mode is a non-stapling mode, the control means 61, in the case of a non-classification mode, changes the sheet carrying direction over to the 1st discharge means 8 by means of the changeover means 7 through the control of the changeover drive means 66, and discharge is done from the sheet 1st discharge means 8 to the bin 10. Further, even if the mode is the non-stapling mode, a control means 60, in the case of a classification mode, changes the sheet carrying direction over to the 2nd discharge means 9 by means of the changeover means 7 through the control of the changeover drive means 67, and sheets are discharged from the 2nd discharge means 9 to the bin 10.
