Suction device for engine
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To ensure a high output as knocking is prevented from occurring, by a method wherein, in a high load running region where knocking of an engine occurs, high oxygen concentration and humidity air, passing an oxygen concentration enriching film, is fed to an engine. CONSTITUTION:An oxygen concentration enriching film device 7 is situated on the outlet side of a turbosupercharger 4, disposed in a suction passage 2 of an engine 1, through a different passage 6. A valve 8 is located between the supercharger 4 and the enriching film device 7. The outlet side of the enriching film device 7 is connected to the suction passage 2 on the upper stream side of the supercharger 4 through a return passage 9, and is connected to an exhaust system through a passage 10. Meanwhile, a pressure sensor 11 is situated in the suction passage 2 on the downstream side of a throttle valve 5, a knock sensor 12 is mounted to the engine 1, and detecting signals therefrom are inputted to a control unit 13. This constitution feeds high humidity air to the engine 1 during knocking.
