Engine controller
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To prevent a torque shock due to a response delay of fuel from occurring by increasing an intake air quantity to be delayed as long as the specified time since the transfer of an air-fuel ratio control signal in the case where an intake air quantity is increased at the lean combustion area of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A device (a) determines the controlled variable of an air-fuel ratio at the time of normal driving of an engine (h), and a device (b) determines the controlled variable of the air-fuel ratio at the time of lean combustion of the engine (h). And, a device (c) judges a lean combustion area of the engine, and a device (d) transfers each control signal based on each controlled variable according to a driving state of the engine (h). In addition, a device (e) regulates the air-fuel ratio according to the transferred control signal. On the other hand, a device (g) increases an intake air quantity of the engine (h) at the lean combustion area. And, a device (f) operates the device (g) after being delayed as long as the specified time since the transfer of the control signal at the lean combustion area of the engine (h).
