Microwave-crosslinkable composition
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition which can be markedly controlled in a phenomenon of foaming during microwave crosslinking, by mixing a crosslinkable component based on a ternary mixture containing chlorinated polyethylene with quick lime. CONSTITUTION:The title composition is prepared by mixing 100pts.wt. ternary mixture (A) prepared by mixing 100pts.wt binary mixture comprising 5-95wt.% chlorinated polyethylene and 95-5wt.% chlorinated ethylene/alkyl acrylate copolymer with 3-30pts.wt. epichlorohydrin with 0.1-5pts.wt. mercaptotriazine (B), 0.5-3mol., per mol of component B, of a compound (C) selected from among an amine of a b.p. of about 110 deg.C, its organic acid salt, its adduct, a diarylguanidine, a condensate of aniline with an aldehyde and 2- benzothiazylsulfenamide in which the aminic moiety is primary or secondary and 1-30pts.wt. quick lime (D).
