Portable telephone system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To attain outgoing and incoming call at any time, to any place and from any place by applying hierarchy arrangement to plural class (i) and class (i+1) exchanges accommodating each master equipment of plural portable telephone sets in existing in a unit service zone in a way of i=1, 2.... CONSTITUTION:Plural number of the class (i) exchanges accommodating each master equipment of plural portable telephone sets existing in the unit service zone and at least one class (i+1) exchanges accommodating plural number of the class (i) exchanges via a relay line are arranged in hierarchy as i=1, 2..., and the exchange system is constituted so that the class (i+1) exchanges cover the entire service area. Then a function resistering a home area where plural portable telephone sets are normally located and designation information assigned to represent each portable telephone set distinguishingly to an exchange managing said home area is provided. Moreover, the handy telephone set and a radio line used between the portable telephone sets are selected by a function to any of the 1st mode where both the transmitters are in sending state, the end mode either of the transmitters only is in the transmission state and a 3rd mode for which both the transmitters are in the sending state as required only.
