Fitting device for medical operation clip

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To improve and simplify a fitting device for a medical operation clip by automatically feeding a clip one by one to a clip closing part of a tool. CONSTITUTION: Jaw parts 20, 22 are opened and positioned on the human tissue 24, a grip grooved member 60 of handles 14, 16 is moved in the terminal direction, a coupling 110 and a pusher member 100 are moved, whereby a pusher finger 102 moves all clips 26 toward the terminal. The outer peripheral parts of the clip arms 32, 34 of the terminal clip come into contact with inclined cam surfaces 142, 144 of the jaw parts 20, 22 and turn to displace the lug parts 42, 44, thereby separating the terminal clip from the following clips. The pusher finger 102 completely pushes the terminal clip 26 in between the jaw parts 20, 22, the clip is held by inward projected clip stoppers 146, 148, and the next clip is caught between the detent 92 and the click spring element 94. The jaw parts 20, 22 are contracted to throttle the arm of the terminal clip, so that the clip is held in the closed state on the human tissue 24. COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO
