Gradual release aromatic agent

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enhance the aroma lasting property and stability of fragrance, by containing an inclusion compound of fragrance and a polyphenyl compound. CONSTITUTION:An inclusion compound containing fragrance as a guest molecule and a polyphenyl compound as a host molecule is contained. This gradual release aromatic agent is a usual powdery solid and easy to mold and, by changing the particle size of a powder or the shape of a molded body, the contact area thereof with the atmosphere can be adjusted and the gradual release degree of aroma can be easily regulated. As fragrance, one or more kind of one selected from a liquid fragrance group consisting of cineol, hinokiol, fragrant olive, jasmine and lemon is pref. The polyphenyl compound means a carbocyclic compound having two or more benzene nuclei and also includes a condensed polycyclic compound like a naphthalene compound other than a compound having a plurality of phenyl groups, phenylene groups or other trivalent or more aromatic groups and, for example, one or more kind of a compounds represented by formulae (I)-(III) are pref.
