Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of construction by a method in which a pit is expanded and compacted by using a bag. CONSTITUTION:An expandible reinforced composite netted bag 3 is inserted into a small-diameter pit 2 formed in the ground 1 and a fluid is injected into the bag 3 to expand the pit 2 and also to compact the wall of the pit. The amount of excavated soil to discharge can thus be reduced and the construction work can also be performed without generating noise and vibration. The construction cost can be also reduced.
