Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To stop a transported plate in a target position precisely by moving a beam projector with locational adjustability in synchronization with the transported plate in the same direction as transport of the plate, setting the irradiating position of the beam projector to the target position for plate, followed by synchronous transportation, and stopping transportation when the beam of light irradiates the target part for light casting. CONSTITUTION:A boss 7a is fixed to an endless chain 7, and a plate is transported while placed in a specific position. Above a transport chain, the body 31 of a beam projector is installed in parallel with transporting direction, and a beam projector 4 is linked with a handle 11 through a belt 33 arranged alongside the body 31. At the time of operation commencement, the beam projector 4 is located so as to irradiate the side of a point to be repaired of the plate through turning of the handle 11, and the plate and beam projector 4 move synchronously. Beam casting from the projector 4 is ocularly checked with a mirror 6 at a reflex surface of a target member for beam casting 5 of a repairing mechanism B, and operation is stopped when it is made sure that the beam is irradiated on the beam cast target point of the target member 5. This provides precise location for the point to be repaired.
