Plug-in connector
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To make a connector small-sized and improve ease of connection by making both front and back housings afloat in a body relative to a back board and providing both the front housing and a PWB connector with a lock mechanism consisting of projection an groove as a body. CONSTITUTION:A PWB connector 15 is connected to a BWB connector 1 by inserting an opening fitting part 16a of the connector 15 into a front housing 2 of the connector 1. Connecting a sleeve-like screw 8 via the front housing and a back board 4 to a guide pin 6 on which a male thread 7 is formed for a back housing 3, the front housing and the back housing are made in a body afloat relative to the back board 4. Further, forming a cantilever 9 on the side of the front housing 2, a hole 11 of an appropriate shape is formed near the front end of the cantilever 9. Forming further a projection 19 of an appropriate shape at a position corresponding to the hole 11 so that the hook can be hooked to the projection 19 at the time of fitting, a lock mechanism is formed.
