Drive unit for engine driven heat pump apparatus
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE: To compact a driving unit while retaining both of the sealing property and ventilating property of both chambers by a method wherein two chambers are formed at both sides of the bulkhead of a bottom plate and a L-shape heat exchanger is installed in one chamber while an engine is installed in the other chamber and respective components are arranged on an upper rack. CONSTITUTION: A bulkhead 44 for defining the inside of a driving unit case 40 into two chambers is installed between the end plate 47 and the surface plate 51 of an outdoor heat exchanger 10 while an engine room A is formed at the right side and an outdoor heat exchanger room B is formed at the left side. The heat exchanger 10, bent so as to have a L-shape, is installed on the peripheral wall of the outdoor heat exchanger room B whereby the size of the heat exchanger room can be minimized. An engine 1 is installed on the bottom plate of the engine room and trays 61, 62 are installed above the engine while a rack for defining the inside of the engine room up-and-down so as to be air-tight is installed and refrigerant system parts as well as electric instrument parts are arranged in a space above the rack whereby a space, remaining above the engine, can be utilized effectively. In this case, an outdoor air inlet port is installed in the upper space of the trays 61, 62 while a fan is installed in a discharging port.
