Information outlet for bus system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To simply and easily carry out information transmission, by providing a bus-side transmitting-receiving section which is connected with a bus cable and performs transmission and reception of signals with the bus cable, terminal- side transmitting-receiving section which performs transmission and reception of signals with a terminal equipments by using radio waves, and protocol converting section which connectes the bus-side and terminal-side transmitting- receiving sections with each other in a mathcing state. CONSTITUTION: Information transmission between a terminal equipments 12 and bus controller 10 or another terminal equipment is executed through a bus cable 15, bus-side transmitting-receiving section 18, protocol converting section 19, and terminal-side transmitting-receiving section 20. Namely, the information transmission between the bus controller 10 and information outlet 11 and between each information outlet is carried out by using the bus cable 15 and information transmission between the terminal equipment 12 and information outlet 11 is executed by using radio waves. Therefore, no wiring is required between the outlet 11 and equipment 12 and the equipment 12 can be move freely. COPYRIGHT: (C)1989,JPO&Japio
