Information recording and reproducing system

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To generate the correspondence of video information and its attaching information, by recording the video information and attaching information relating to the information on different recording media with synchronizing signals, and reproducing the information simultaneously from those recording media based on the synchronizing signals. CONSTITUTION:On a first disk, the video information and voice data relating to the information are recorded in a prescribed signal format. On a second disk, plural voice data corresponding to the above voice data and the title(character) data of a language corresponding to each scene are multiplex- recorded. Also, the information are recorded on both disks synchronizing with each other, and also, the synchronizing signals are recorded. Both disks are reproduced by two players simultaneously based on the above synchronizing signals.
